Beer Chicken
My uncle made beer chicken once. It was delicious. Here's my
version.
Ingredients
For
two or three:
2 tbsp olive oil
3 chicken legs, unmarinated
1-2 bay leaves
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 small tomatoes, cut into 4 pieces
1 bottle of dark lager beer
1,5 tsp salt
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp rosmarin
1/3 tsp pepper powder
1/3 tsp black pepper
5 whole pepper corns
Instructions
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.

Add the chicken pieces. Fry on both sides for a few minutes
so that the colour changes.
3.
Add the onion and garlic. Keep on frying until the onions are
translucent.
4.
Pour in the beer. Bring to boil and then lower the heat.
5.
Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Cover under a lid.
6.
Simmer in mid-heat for almost 1,5 hours. Stir and turn the chicken
pieces a couple of times.
7.
Serve with rice.
