Simple and good.
Ingredients
For
three:
1/2
dl of red lentils
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tomato, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 dl water
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
fresh coriander, a few branches chopped
Instructions
1. Rinse the lentils in several changes of water.
2.
Heat the oil in the frying pan. Add the onion. Fry until the
onion is golden brown.
3.
Add turmeric, garlic, tomato, green chili and salt. Fry for
a moment and then add the lentils and water. Bring to boil and
then lower the heat.
4.
Cover with a lid and let it brew for fifteen minutes or so stirring
occasionally. (If needed, add some water..)
5.
At the end add garam masala and fresh coriander.
6.
Serve as a side dish.
